Ajumähis

Ajumähis podcast is a show where two hosts improvise comical intro and outro songs. Some of the improvised concepts were so good that they needed special attention, thus the Ajumähis band was born.

For recording and producing the songs Lennart Pihl and Henri Põld were recruited by the two mysterious show hosts of Ajumähis Podcast. Both Henri and Lennart were already active in the music scene and had access to the necessary gear. Also, Henri Põld had just began learning drums which made him perfect for this punk project. Lennart Pihl was neck deep into engineering and music production, also bass. One of the hosts wanted to play guitar as he does during podcasts and the other host wanted to sing.

It was agreed that Ajumähis band would do a single recording session during a single day to produce one song. It is what it is.

Koll

KTCB and Killer Tissue

KTCB comes from Killer Tissue Cover Band - a name that was meant as a joke when the band, formerly known as Killer Tissue, came back together after a two year hiatus.

Everyone agreed that the band needed a new name and many names came under discussion, yet non of them had the same feeling as the fun founded self ironic Killer Tissue Cover Band, for the band started covering their own juvenilia. The four letter nickname, KTCB, got wedged between nostalgia and surprisingly ill tempered sense of humor slowly digging it's way towards the hearts of the group it symbolizes. Officially the 6 member band, who are not always all present on stage, were baptized under the fireworks between 2011 and 2012 in Kuressaare, Estonia - the hometown for all of them.

Killer Tissue, the combination of words, struck Kristel Aaslaid as a lame joke when a pack of tissues landed on her face. When K (Kaupo Saar) threw the pack as an answer to Kristel's "Has anyone got a tissue?", he was unaware that his actions would create a band name they, formerly "We Killer Our Singer", needed. For years Kaupo Saar, Henri Põld and Lennart Pihl jammed and created music but were always a singer short. Kristel was a total game changer. The year then was something like 2008.

We Killed Our Singer was Kaupo Saar, Henri Põld and Lennart Pihl

Killer Tissue was Kristel Aaslaid, Henri Põld, Lennart Pihl, Kaupo Saar and Kermo Raja.

KTCB was Kristel Aaslaid, Kaupo Saar, Henri Põld, Lennart Pihl & Sander Nõmmistu.

Outburst Of Rage
and Lining Shelter

Outburst Of Rage was an experimental nu-metal band from Kuressaare created in 2004. This short lived ensemble became Lining Shelter in 2006 after guitarist Martin Saar left the band.

Unfortunately there is not much available on these collectives as no recordings were made or released. There should, however, be a VHS tape somewhere in the ether with a live performance. This Korn and Limp Bizkit inspired rap metal group experimented with various sounds and line-ups, even switched instruments and at times gave instrumental concerts.

Fred Märtovski was the singer and sometimes guitarist. Kaupo Saar the drummer, Lennart Pihl on guitar and later bass, Martin Saar on guitar. Later many instrumentalists circled through until the band was no more.
